Le prochain projet d'Arjen Lucassen  est un album solo.

I’ve been wanting to record a solo album with just me singing for about 10 years now. But I always seem to come across singers whom I would like to work with, so my last solo attempts have turned into an Ayreon, Star One and Guilt Machine releases instead! But now the time is right and I feel very inspired!

Arjen is proud to announce that he was able to enlist the talents of legendary screen actor Rutger Hauer as the narrator on his forthcoming solo album. “This is a dream come true,” says Arjen. “Rutger is not only one of my favorite actors, he also starred in my all-time favorite sci-fi movie, Blade Runner.”

Rutger also enjoyed the collaboration with Arjen, saying “it was marvelous work, very creative.” Arjen and Rutger talk about their collaboration in a short video clip posted here. The solo album (title TBA) is scheduled for release by InsideOut on 23 April (Europe) and 8 May (USA). More info to follow soon!

Surtout qu'il est plutôt avare de ses prestations live.

Arjen n'a pas joué sur ce concert, il ne veut plus faire de live apparemment. Par contre il a dirigé toute la manoeuvre. Mon ami Brett qui a fait le mastering me fait saliver !

What is Ayreon Universe?
Ayreon Universe is Ayreon live in concert for the first time ever, organized and arranged by Arjen A. Lucassen and Joost van den Broek.
